![]() Current Windows Office Free Open OfficeNo, the statement which starts out says "Supports Family Sharing? goes on to say that some third party softare (including this one) don't suport Family Sharing! How confusing. But after buying the app, and setting up family sharing, no subscription for Word for Mac was there under supported apps and services under Family Sharing in System Preferences. It seems to me like the statement reads that the Family Version supports family Sharing because it says so. Now that was my next dilemma. You will notice that right below In-Aoo Purchase, it says Supports Family Sharing. It was only after I signed out of the Apple Id of my wife's computer and signed into my own purchase Apple ID and downloaded the app that I suddenly understood that anybody with any Apple Id can download the software for Word for Mac by clicking the GET button. 1 this installation cannot be run by directly launching the msi packageI noted a few issues and oen did not get fixed. What a day!Many months ago you gave users a chance to try a new version of Outlook 365. The Apple Advisors were in the dark as much as me. Because of this confulsion I almost fell back on Pages. ![]() ![]() Yes, there is the "Recently Open" command, but I don't have time nor do I want to waste my limited intelligence trying to remember what was open and why. For the past good while (can't remember how long) that option seems gone. It used to be that I could just quit the app with whatever open and when I logged back on everything would boot up automatically. As a writer, I tend to work on anywhere from a dozen to two or three dozen stories, essays, and articles every week. However, I am seriously weirded out by it these days. There's no doubt that Word is the most powerful document creating application out there. I've got my methods for getting around this issue, of course, but still, they require thinking about something trivial that I really don't want to waste my brain on. That is a problem with being too big to care. No response back that I know of. I've written to Microsoft on this problem several times.
